Every September the
Cleveland Art Museum hosts a two day Chalk Festival in its Fine Arts Garden. It's a wonderful opportunity for professionals and amateurs alike to come out and create a temporary masterpiece. The event is family friendly with live music and plenty to see. All pieces are created on the sidewalk squares with soft pastels. It is one of my favorite events of the year. I highly encourage attending even if you don't want to partake in the drawing. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in University Circle and nearby Little Italy. Visit the museum and make an afternoon of it! Below are the works I've created over the last few years of participating. Enjoy!
